The organisers of the CEDE 2021 exhibition (September 16-18) believe in an optimistic scenario and an autumn industry meeting in Łódź.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the last CEDE was held in September 2019. In 2020, the traditional event could not be organised. Instead, Exactus surprised everyone with the first edition of the Virtual Dental Exhibition by CEDE, which attracted 59 exhibitors and nearly 2 000 visitors.
– We are full of new experiences, though we miss the traditional formula and face-to-face meetings. Of course we do realise that we are not the only ones, as a survey conducted by the Polish Dental Association shows that over 90% of respondents are of a similar opinion. Yet we do believe that the epidemiological and sanitary conditions as well as the vaccination of medical staff will allow CEDE 2021 to be held. Bear in mind that after many years spent in Poznań, we are returning to our hometown of Łódź. We are already inviting all dentists, technicians, hygienists and assistants, everyone – says Łukasz Sowa, Managing Director at Exactus.
The venue of CEDE 2021 will be the EXPO Łódź facility. The main exhibition area is a hall with an area of 5700 m2 with the possibility of free division into smaller sections. The hosts of Łódź are delighted with CEDE's return. The Mayor of the City, Hanna Zdanowska, is herself convincing about it in the CEDE promotional spot (watch it here).
Worth noting are the refreshed CEDE visual identification and the new website. The CEDE creative team has opted for green, which for many is a symbol of optimism.
Traditionally, the event organisational team works on projects complementing the meetings at the stands. Their potential hosts (also companies from around the world), can book organisational meetings also through a virtual calendar. The first talks this year show that the key aspect of coming to Łódź will be a renewed desire to meet, exchange experiences and smiles. The organisers have already booked Poznański Palace, a legendary integration venue of the dental industry.
