Carl F. Driscoll

Carl F. Driscoll Dr. Carl F. Driscoll is an internationally renowned educator, clinician, author, researcher, and lecturer. He currently serves as a Professor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and was the Director of the Prosthodontic Residency for 21 years. He also served in the same capacity at Walter Reed Army Medical Center for three years prior to moving to dental school. Dr. Driscoll retired from the U.S. Army after twenty years of service. Dr. Driscoll received many awards during his military service including the Legion of Merit, specialty “A” designator, and Expert Field Medical Badge. Dr. Driscoll is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of both the American College of Prosthodontists and the Academy of Prosthodontics. Dr. Driscoll has served as President of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, President of the American Board of Prosthodontics, and as President of the American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Driscoll has received many other awards including the American College of Prosthodontists Educator of the Year Award. In addition to his teaching commitments, he is in private practice in Bethesda, MD.
