The Polish Dental Association is the oldest scientific association of dentists and other industry participants. The main statutory tasks of the PTS are: development of doctors' knowledge, initiation of medical problems, also of interdisciplinary character, and cooperation in improving medical staff. PTS is the organizer or co-organizer of numerous conferences, conventions and courses. "Sign of Acceptance" PTS confirms the quality and positive properties of the product based on research. The PTS Honorary Patronage is awarded to companies and institutions organizing educational and scientific events that promote health and preventive health care. PTS is the organizer of the "Polska mówi #aaa" campaign. From December 2017, the president of PTS is prof. Marzena Dominiak.
